Vallunaraju is one of the most dominant Cordillera Blanca peaks seen from Huaraz - the mountain with two horns is easy to identify. The normal route via north ridge is a moderately easy mountaineering adventure where approach is the hardest part. The climbing is straightforward and rewarding, with lots of sun and great views. Vallunaraju is also one of the most popular peak on Cordillera Blanca.

Itinerary in brief
- Day 1: Car to the trail head in Llaca Valley, 2,5h hike to the camp.
- Day 2:Wake-up before sunrise, 3-5h to the summit. Returning back to the camp and all the way down to the car. Back in Huaraz in early afternoon.

What to bring:
Get prepared for heat, sun, rain and cold. Good waterproof shoes for high altitudes, sleeping bag, light daypack, toilet paper, headlamp, personal things. Missing something? Ask Galaxia.
Service covers:
